| Welcome to Lindhaga Gård |
| Lindhaga Gård is a farm in Southern Sweden (Skåne). It was named by Johannes Lindgren1900. The Lindgrenfamily has then owned and operated the farm since approx. 1900. "Lind" is a common tree (it has the same name in english.) and "haga" is a nice small pasture. The farm is 54 hectar (approx. 145 acres) and consists mostly of farmland for growing crops and approx. 3 hectar of forest. The past couple of years the Lindgren family has begun to breed miniature shetland ponies, and has cut back to only a few cows. There are many other types of hobby animals on the farm, such as sheep, chickens, cats and dogs. The Lindgrens spend most of their days in a city nearby called Lund, which has recently celebrated it's 1000 year anniversary, and then come back every day to the farm which is home. After a share of city life, the farm is especially valued! |
